LEAD PASTOR OPPORTUNTIES
The following are churches that are presently in process for a Lead Pastor. All applicants must be credentialed with The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada or qualify for such credentials. Applications for ministerial credentials and other related information is available by clicking here.
Applicants already credentialed with the PAOC may forward their resumes, including a philosophy of ministry (no more than one page ) to the Eastern Ontario & Nunavut District to the attention of the District Contact as listed below the church name. Only resumes receiving serious consideration by respective pulpit committees will be responded to. If contacted by a committee, the applicant should be prepared to supply two recent messages - one of the last message preached and another of the applicant's choosing.
Deseronto Pentecostal Church, Deseronto Ontario
Deseronto Pentecostal Church is currently seeking its next lead Pastor. Located between Kingston and Belleville Ontario, the church is a congregation that averages 65 on Sunday mornings. This is a full-time position and all applicants must be credentialed with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Prior Lead pastor experience is preferred but not required to apply. Resumes and a philosophy of ministry should be submitted to the District via email before December 31st 2021.

Southside Worship Centre (SWC), Ajax Ontario
Southside is a vibrant multi-cultural church family physically located in south Ajax. Average morning attendance pre-COVID was 100 and presently averages 60 onsite with online attendance of 30-50. SWC has strong community engagement and is committed to making disciples at home and around the world through strategic missional engagement. The church is now receiving resumes for Lead Pastor.

The Oasis, Kinburn Ontario
The Oasis congregation meets outside of the community of Kinburn, located between Ottawa and Arnprior, and is a looking for a pastor with apostolic giftings to lead them into the future. The Oasis currently has an average Sunday morning attendance of 50 people. This is a part-time position and all applicants must be credentialed with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
