LEAD PASTOR OPPORTUNITIES

The following are churches that are presently in process for a Lead Pastor. All applicants must be credentialed with The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada or qualify for such credentials. Applications for ministerial credentials and other related information is available by clicking here.

Applicants already credentialed with the PAOC may forward their resumes, including a philosophy of ministry (no more than one page ) to the Eastern Ontario & Nunavut District to the attention of the District Contact as listed below the church name. Only resumes receiving serious consideration by respective pulpit committees will be responded to. If contacted by a committee, the applicant should be prepared to supply two recent messages - one of the last message preached and another of the applicant's choosing.

CALVARY PENTECOSTAL CHURCH

Calvary Pentecostal Church is located in the lovely small town of Port Hope. The average Sunday attendance is 50 people. They seek a full-time lead pastor to lead and care for the congregation. Lead Pastor experience is preferred but not essential. All applicants must be credentialed with the PAOC or can obtain credentials with the PAOC.

CHURCH IN REGENT PARK

Church in Regent Park is a vibrant missional congregation located in the heart of Regent Park, Toronto, Ontario. As part of its outreach, the church actively serves the local community, hosting teams to provide community dinners every Saturday. With an average of 80 attendees at Sunday services and a growing congregation, Church in Regent Park is deeply committed to making a positive impact.

We are currently seeking a Lead Pastor who embodies an inspiring, prayerful, and mission-driven spirit for the city of Toronto. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader with strong biblical preaching and teaching abilities, approachable, and gifted in both pastoral care and administration. While previous experience as a Lead Pastor is preferred, it is not required. All applicants must either hold credentials with the PAOC (Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada) or be eligible to obtain them.

CHURCH ON THE ROCK INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES

Church on the Rock is a vibrant commuter church in north central Scarborough, with live online services and an average attendance of 80. It seeks a full-time Lead Pastor who will care for, disciple, and grow their congregation.

The church is multi-ethnic, with most of its members having roots in India and Sri Lanka. About two thirds of its attendees are Young Adults, and the church’s strengths include excellent Bible teaching, prophetic ministry, and a talented worship team with many musicians.

The ideal candidate will have strong biblical preaching and teaching abilities, and be gifted in pastoral care and administration. While previous experience as a Lead Pastor is preferred, it is not required. The church would also consider a bi-vocational candidate depending on the circumstances. All applicants must either hold credentials with the PAOC (Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada) or be eligible to obtain them.

LONG SAULT PENTECOSTAL CHURCH

Long Sault Pentecostal Church is located near the banks of the St. Lawrence Seaway in the picturesque town of Long Sault in eastern Ontario. The average Sunday attendance is 45 people. They are looking for a Pastor who is an inspiring, prayer focused, mission minded servant leader with strong biblical preaching and teaching skills. This person should be approachable and possess strong pastoral and people gifts. Prior Lead Pastor experience is preferred but not essential. All applicants must be credentialed with the PAOC or can obtain credentials with the PAOC.

MILLBROOK CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLY

Millbrook Christian Assembly is located in the beautiful small town of Millbrook, just outside Peterborough. They seek a full-time lead pastor who will disciple, grow and care for their congregation. The average Sunday attendance is 100 people. All applicants must be credentialed with the PAOC or can obtain credentials with the PAOC.
